Expertise All associates have advanced training in social research methods and
experience in program evaluation. A
variety of backgrounds ensures a broad perspective and appropriate expertise
for both qualitative and quantitative methods.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE Dr. Frank is an experienced researcher and veteran educator.
Chris has a Ph.D. in Education (Curriculum) and has a particular interest in
program evaluation. With her varied work over the years in education, social
services, and research, she brings a broad perspective to any project. Formerly a faculty member in the postgraduate Research Analyst
Program at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, Chris taught
Qualitative Research Methods and Population/Demography. In her capacity as a
professor of research methods and also as an independent consultant, she has
led many program evaluations and social research projects. Committed to a
participatory approach, Chris is an expert at engaging stakeholders in the
inquiry process and producing accessible, actionable results. A particular
strength is her ability to present results for ease of implementation and
understanding by all stakeholders. Chris also conducts training workshops in qualitative methods
and analysis software, customizing workshops to meet an organization’s needs.
In 2009, she designed and facilitated the CES Ontario Chapter’s first
workshop on Qualitative Methods and Program evaluation. Another area in which
she trains is the application of business writing strategies for readable,
dynamic reports that contribute to knowledge mobilization. Known for her teaching
ability, she has a lively, interactive presentation style. |
