Peel Region School Board (2008 to 2009). Conducted study on parent involvement including 18 focus groups in seven languages.
Rockefeller University Hospital Center for Clinical and Translational Science, NIH Clinical Center and NRC Picker (US, 2009). Analyzed focus group data regarding clinical research participant experience.
Simcoe County Children’s Aid Society (2008). Analyzed Qualitative data for CAS Legal Services Evaluation.

Centres.
Peel Region School Board (2007 to 2008). Conducted multi-method study of parent, student, and educator attitudes about pathway planning, including Web surveys and focus groups.
St. Lucia Roving Caregiver Program (longitudinal 2006 to 2009). Planner, trainer and analyst for an impact study of a home visitation program for child development.
Learning, Earning, and Parenting Program, County of Simcoe (2007).
Designed and led 33 students in a multi-method study to explore the impact of a program for teen parents.

Evaluated training institute for directors of education, presented by The Learning Partnership in association with the Rotman Institute, Toronto.
Canada’s Outstanding Principals Conference (2006). Evaluated national training institute for outstanding elementary and secondary school principals, presented by The Learning Partnership and The Canadian Association of Principals, in association with the Rotman Institute, Toronto.
Adult Diabetes Care, Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie (2006). Designed and led 33 students in a multi-method study to document patient experiences with diabetes care, via observations, focus groups and interviews.
Middlesex-London Health Unit (2005). Evaluated in-service educational programming in epidemiology.
Public Health Agency of Canada and Simcoe District County Health Unit (2005). Evaluated in-service educational programming in epidemiology.
“Making Ends Meet” Poverty Study Simcoe County (2004). Designed and led students in a multi-method study in partnership with Child, Youth and Family Services Coalition to investigate gaps in services. Established and worked with Coalition advisory committee to guide study and utilize results.
“A New Perspective on Poverty in the Caribbean; A Qualitative Approach” Caribbean Development Bank (2004). Analyzed qualitative data collected across six Eastern Caribbean countries, including results from focus groups, community meetings, and key informant interviews. Presented the findings and participated in planning discussions at Caribbean Development Bank’s regional conference on poverty reduction in Barbados, with 8 development partners and 18 countries in
attendance.
Simcoe County Children’s Aid Society (2003). Consulted on county-wide study including development of indicators, examination of records, focus groups, and client phone survey. Guided internal research committee through all stages of the study.
Georgian College Exterior Environment (2002). Designed and led study with extensive observations of outdoor traffic patterns and in-depth interviews of campus users.
Connections 2002: A Community Research Project of the Parenting Alliance: Designed and managed a multi-method assessment of parenting needs in Simcoe County. Funded by the Early Years Challenge Fund, this study was a project of The Parenting Alliance, based at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children. A Working Research Group of the Parenting Alliance and a Simcoe County Local Advisory Group helped guide the process. Methods included interviews with service providers, a parent survey, and focus groups.
Barrie School Breakfast Programs (2000). Designed and managed multi-method evaluation of programs in five schools. Included observations, parent and child surveys, focus groups with principals and volunteers, and in-depth interviews with teachers.
